Star Wars Card Trader-My Favorite Card

A while back I was searching for apps to help organize my trading cards and I came across a app for for Star Wars Digital Cards.

What's this I asked myself? A app dedicated to collecting cards and it's devoted to Star Wars? I'm a Star Wars fan and I love collecting. So I decided to check it out and thus I was introduced to digital trading cards.

I bought my first pack and I was hooked..much like collecting physical cards it's all about the thrill of the chase trying to get the latest cards and completing sets.

In the course of my adventures on the app I discovered the fact you could earn rewards for collecting certain sets..and that leads me into my favorite card in the set.

This is the Fan's Choice Award Card for collecting the first wave of 10 cards in the chase. 

The reason it is my favorite it is the first award card I ever earned in the game. And the fact that the card looks awesome.

I have got several offers for this card in trades and have declined every one of them. As this card will be kept in my collection for a long time.

So there you go my favorite card..next time will talk about my hoard card collection.

Today was laundry day..didn't get around to getting my linens done thou..that makes me a sad panda. 

So I have the new Call of Duty maps...and with the exception of Core they are pretty good, my favorite is Sideshow would not recommend it for anybody who is afraid of clowns thou..

Now I am playing infected..pretty fun actually..

I may have mentioned in previous blog posts I collect football and baseball cards...going through some of my cards and it is making me want to actually downsize the scope of my collection to focus only on my teams The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Oakland A's and to focus on certain players like Austin Seferian-Jenkins and maybe a few others.

So I am going through my cards and will be listing several of them on eBay in the next few weeks..and what I don't think I can sell I plan on putting together some packages and either donating them to children's hospitals or to troops overseas.

One of these days I am also going to go through my storage and get rid of some of the crap I don't need anymore, I want to get rid of the storage unit so I have some more money in my pocket every month.

So I finally caved and did the one thing I swore I would never do and that was do bit strips..and yes I shall give credit to Addy for me doing this lol..

I do really mention that girl Addy a lot don't I..I should do a whole blog entry devoted to her lol

So that day that represents love and all that mushy stuff is fast approaching Oh joy oh joy *rolls eyes* Just another day to remind me that I am single as a pringle.

On a wrestling note if the rumors of Daniel Bryan vs, Dolph Ziggler are true for Wrestlemania that match has the potential to be the show stealing match and match of the year candidate.

Well today was a low key kinda day..went to the mall so my little cousin could get a new pair of shoes he ended up getting a pair of shoes that you can play Simon on..they are pretty cool.

Picked up a Southern Chicken sandwich from McDonald's before they disappear off the menu..it was good they should keep them on.

Watched the Royal Rumble and all I can say is blah....I won't spoil it but I will say that apparently the WWE likes to have fans completely shit on their shows at the end. It was awesome to see Bubba Ray Dudley back in a WWE ring in Philly no less thou.

I really like the team of Cesaro and Tyson Kidd

So I watched the Rumble on the Xbox 360 with the exception of a couple of buffering issues it was a pretty smooth experience I was pleasantly surprised.

I live tweeted during the Rumble something that was not planned and something I had fun doing..not sure my followers appreciated it but oh well..I am doing every PPV from now on lol

I may have stated it before but it's funny I have a adult content warning..but don't really have adult content in here...maybe I should change that and post some random boobs or something lol

Now the question is whose random boobs to post?? lol

I swore I would never use snapchat but now I am sorta addicted to it..and it's all your fault and you know who you are..Miss :P

Been a week since I last wrote in here..I really want to write more like 2-3 times a week, I just have to buckle down and do this..I need to find a way to grow my readership thou lol

Put my first ever item up for auction on eBay maybe I can make some more money by selling unwanted trading cards..one can hope right?

One thing I have been working on is decluttering my life..been tossing lots of stuff that is not needed anymore and look forward to getting rid of more junk.

I really need to buckle down and save more money that is one of my big goals this year..

Oh and I totally blame Addy for this but it a good thing is I have been on a major A Capella kick as of late..so I am looking for some good groups to give a try..so if you have any suggestions..leave them in the comment box, tweet me at @MrBooButt or email me..Therealspiffy@gmail.com

I am almost done writing a short story I have been working on the past week..it's totally unlike anything I have written..it's probably a one off although there is numerous ways I could go for a series of stories set in the same universe if I wanted to explore that particular universe..

Well My goal to reading 50 books this year is off to a good start only 3 down 47 to go..lol

Looks like my blog writing goal is going good thus far..let's see if I can keep this up..

I am looking at the stack of paper that is the very rough draft of my story I wrote during National Write a Novel in a Month..thinking about going through it and edit it...My cousin broke the flash drive I had stored it on (insert frowny face and people wondered why I would hand write it lol)

On a NaNoWriMo related note I got ideas floating around for a shorter story a spin-off if you will involving my favorite character in my story..Lady Addison Stonehart..

Oh I know I will talk about NaNoWriMo for those of you who may not be familiar with it..

Well basically in the month of November participants try their best to write a novel that is a minimum of 50,000..My family always ask what can you win can you win money and the answer is no..I do it for fun and to keep my mind from being mushy..(There are some things you do get as rewards but I don't necessarily think they fit anybodies definition of a prize

When I first did it in 2013..I did it at a time when I just felt blah about a lot of things in my life and what not and just felt like my brain was turning into a big pile of mush and writing just really helped me and reignited a creative spark in me, of course I got busy in like and stuff and while I wasn't so blah about things I once again had the feeling of my brain just turning mushy again so when I realized in late Sept. early Oct. it was almost NaNo time again I got got giddy and begin to brainstorm ideas..and settled on a basic outline of one and when November came just began to write.. (that plus I got a spiffy new muse to inspire me to write and base a character loosely on her..Thanks Addy)

It also made once again realize something as a 2 time 2 time winner of NaNoWriMo..that I can set a goal and achieve it, so with that in mind I have entered a new year with goals in my mind that I know I can achieve sure to some people they may seem relatively small I am going to do all that I can to make my goals a reality.

I feel the fog of the writer's block slowly lifting away now that I have put hands to keyboard..Hmm now weither or not to have Addy face off against a Vampire Clan or have her face off against a Jason style killer at a summer camp... Book Review: Too Dead to Dance

Hello Spiffy Readers..and welcome to the first book review of the New Year.

Today's featured book is Too Dead to Dance- A Jennifer Penny Mystery written by Diane Morlan

This is the ebook version which was gifted to me this Christmas by one Addison (thanks again Addy)

The book is set in a small town in Minnesota during a Polka festival and of course there is a murder and when her best friend is suspected in comes Jennifer Penny to investigate and attempt to clear of friend of wrong during much like Jessica Fletcher would do in Murder She Wrote. Eventually there is another murder which of course happens to be the girlfriend of her she to be ex husband(Minor Spoiler- who is also the ex wife of the first victim) who her best friend is also suspected of killing. 

This book is a decent entry in the Cozy sub genre of mysteries. It kept me engaged and although the author could have easily cut out a few minor characters who didn't add to the plot and took out the whole plot of finding the Coca-Cola stein that bogged down the book ever so slightly.

This is the first book in the series apparently and thus far there only appears to be one other book in the series Shake Down Dead which I will be reading in the near future, I hope that Miss Morlan writes another book in the series as I could see this becoming a series that I enjoyed much like I enjoyed reading The Cat Who series by Lillian Jackson Braun.

Over all I give Too Dead to Dance the Spiffy seal of approval and 3.85 stars out of five..

I'm Craving You Like Candy...

So it's been a week sine I have last checked in..

Figured I would post a update to my one maybe two readers to let them know what's going on (Hi Addy if you reading this)

Work is slowing down and my hours are going up and down...and will be like that for the next 5 or 6 months..

I paid my storage off until April so that will help

Work was good today..it was actually pretty quiet spent most of the time in the backroom talking to my Boo Bear on Google Hangouts while scanning the backroom..

Got some projects I want to start working on here soon..the results of which will be posted on here as I accomplish these goals and projects and what not..

The one thing I am sorta excited about is doing a little youtube show not sure what I will talk about yet..but if my one or two readers (this means you Addy...have any ideas submit them via comment box..lol

If my one or two readers could share my blog and maybe grow my readership to 4 or 5 readers that would be spiffy!

I have a book review I have to post up here I think I shall do that tomorrow
